Did you know?

Tara W. is obviously a fan of romance books: she sent us this interesting fact.

Did you know? that Barbara Cartland wrote 723 novels, which have sold over a billion copies and are available in 36 languages, making her the best selling novelist of all time?

Gill W. sent in this excellent housekeeping tip:

Did you know? If you're having trouble telling a raw egg from a boiled egg, just spin them. The raw egg will wobble while the boiled egg will spin smoothly. If you want to check for a bad egg you need only to drop it in water: bad eggs float, while fresh eggs will sink immediately.

Those of us sitting down to a family dinner this festive season can thank Tony F. for this bit of trivia.

Did you know? that the brightly colored fleshy bit on the bill of a turkey is called a snood?
